Membership Requirements

Please read the following completely before submitting a Join Request Form. Questions on Membership can be directed to our Membership Coordinator

Rules and Regulations set forth on this page and the Join Request Forms are for the safety of our members and guests- Please respect them. Failure to complete a Join Request Form with the required information, Signing the Rules and Regulations section or Signing the Waiver section is cause to have your application dismissed.

Tech Inspections are at the discretion of the Trail Boss and are outlined below and on the Join Request Forms. Refusal to go through a tech inspection (again at the discretion of the trail boss) can be a cause to be dismissed from a club event.

Rules and Regulations:

  • Seatbelts must be worn at all times while attending a Keystone Krawlers Events. Infants through children age three, must be properly restrained in an appropriate child safety seat or in accordance with state laws as they apply. Children over the age of three must wear a seatbelt at all times or in accordance with state laws as they apply.
  • Must be 18 to Join as a Club Member- Any driver, of legal driving age, but under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a legal parent or guardian for said individual- All responsibility for this driver will be that of the parent or guardian.
  • No alcohol or illegal drugs are allowed while attending a Keystone Krawlers Event. No person may be under the influence of alcohol, drugs or any substances that may hinder thinking ability or reaction time. Coolers can be checked during Keystone Krawlers Events.
  • Firearms and Weapons will not be permitted at Keystone Krawlers events. This is a don’t ask, don’t tell policy for those with legal Conceal and Carry permits for that state or states with reciprocity agreement's. If at anytime a Weapon is displayed or witnessed during the event- The person responsible for the weapon may be asked to leave.
  • All vehicles must be insured- unless specifically stated otherwise.
  • All drivers must hold a valid drivers license.
  • All vehicles must have at least one tow point (example: tow hook or receiver hitch). Front and rear tow points may be required by the trail leader. This will be communicated prior to the event.
  • All vehicles must have the following: Proper roll-over protection (Factory equipped or otherwise), Full size spare tire (or tire large enough to get you off of the trail), Battery tie-downs (no bungee cords), Seatbelts, Tow point(s), Trash bag for liquid spills, and a Tow strap (within the group), Fire Extinguisher (within the group). Pre-ride tech inspections are at the discretion on the trail guide.
  • Excessive speed while on the trail will not be tolerated.
  • No tricks or horseplay at the staging area. Please do not cause a commotion or damage to other vehicles.
  • Please respect proper trail etiquette. If you are unsure what this means, contact the trail leader.
  • All participants must stay on designated trails. Keystone Krawlers abide by the Tread Lightly etiquette. Do not blaze a trail.
  • No disorderly conduct; No littering; This includes tobacco products. (Cigarette Butts, Cigars, etc…). It is of the recommendation of the Keystone Krawlers that no glass bottles be brought onto the trail, plastic is preferred do to the fragility of glass.
  • Participants must listen and respect the Trail Guide and follow the above rules at all times while in attendance of a Keystone Krawlers event.

It is the responsibility of each and every attendee to report behavior to the trail guide that does not coincide with the above rules. Please contact the trail guide with any questions or concerns that may arise during the event.
If a decision has been made by the trail guide, to remove a member or guest from the trail ride because of the inability to meet the above criteria- That member will do so, without incident or disturbance.

If at ANY time during an event, the trail guide feels it necessary to stop, postpone or cancel the event- He/She has the authority to do so without repercussions. This will be done in the best interest of the group.

If ANYONE attending the event feels that there is an unsafe situation, use the CB channel currently being monitored to announce "All-Stop"; this will inform the trial guide and other officers that there is a situation that needs immediate attention.
Rules as with the laws of our great nation, are updated from time to time. Any changes will be communicated prior to the event.

Members must agree to the rules set forth above and understand that in the event they do not follow these rules or infractions are made, They may be asked to leave. Infractions could ultimately lead to the termination of your membership as it applies.

Tech Inspection- Points of Interest:

At minimum, the following will be checked:

  • Tow Points (minimum one. Some Rides may require front and rear)
  • Battery Tie Down (No Bungee Cords)
  • Full Size Spare
  • Jack (Factory or otherwise)
  • Decent Tread on Tires (ATs OK, MTs may be required for some trail rides)
  • Other equipment may be checked at the discretion of the trail leader.
  • Any special requirements will be outlined before a club event.

Membership Fees:

Our membership year runs from May to May of each year.
